As I lay down By: Angel Ward

As I lay down at night
I bow my head in prayer
Asking God's forgiveness for my sins of the day
Thanking him for his son
Who gave his life for me
Then I pray for protection over my family and friends
I ask him if it be his will to wake me up
So I can serve him for one more day
As I finely lay my head down for the night
A peaceful smile spreads across my face
My last thought is always
Thank you lord for everything you give me
